Tangent Circle

Tangent Circle

Let us learn about Tangent Circle,Tangent is a line which touches a circle at only one point. At the point of contact with the circle, tangent is at right angles to the radius of the circle. From any point outside a circle, the two tangents lines drawn to the circle is of equal length. Tangent to a circle is a straight line and it won't cross the circle-only touching the circle.Explanation:Tangent of a circle is the point where the tangent and the circle intersect with each other.

A tangent that is common to two circles and does not intersect the segment joining the centers of the circles is called Common External Tangent. A common tangent can be one of the following:External tangent circles. A tangent that is common to two circles and does not intersect the segment joining the centers of the circles is called Common External Tangent.Hope you like the above example of Tangent Circle. Please leave your comments, if you have any doubts.
